DIRECTOR

In April 2006, Mrs. Patricia began her journey as the owner of My Angel’s Playhouse Early Learning Childcare Center as a certified home childcare provider. She has obtained an Associate’s degree in Preschool Teacher at Camden County Community College and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Rowan University. Her philosophy is a simple one that embraces the ideals that children should experience learning and be welcomed into a loving, warm environment with a structured routine as well as experience hands-on activities through play and discovery within their community.

In 2018, with purchasing this new building, she completely restored and redesigned to provide the best possible vision for kindergarten preparedness, family, community, and parent interaction with each child, as well as for the development of the children's self-help abilities and personality.

Mrs. Patricia favorite quote is, “Every child is a different kind of flower, and all together, make this world a beautiful garden.” – Rumi. Outside of the childcare center she loved to travel and spend time with her family and friends.

ASSISTANT DIRECTOR

Mrs. Melissa has been working with My Angel’s Playhouse for more than fifteen years. In 2019, she graduated from Rider University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and Mathematics.

Melissa is a wife and mother of two energetic children, Messiah and Solaya. She also loves to travel and see new places around the world.

As an assistant director her role is to make decisions with the best interest of your child in mind. She provides a welcoming, positive, and fair environment where each child can learn from one another. Each child will also feel safe and comfortable to take risks and share their thoughts and ideas. She believes that children learn best when they can relate learning materials to meaningful experiences, such as life outside of school, experiences with family, relatives, and culture; and emphasizes this throughout all her work.
